The cargo in the rear of a vehicle

Every new Chevy is covered by a comprehensive warranty that protects you against the unlikely possibility of any issue with the materials or workmanship that went into its creation. We want to tell you more about the coverage you enjoy with your 2024 Chevy warranty.

Bumper-to-Bumper Warranty

This warranty covers most of the systems and components in your Chevy. The only items not covered are those included in other warranties below or which are specifically excluded. Excluded items and situations are listed in your warranty booklet. Examples of situations not covered by warranty include accidental damage, unauthorized alterations, or routine maintenance.

Coverage under this warranty extends for three years or 36,000 miles, whichever happens first. This warranty also includes coverage for the full labor cost for tires and pro rata costs for replacement tires.

Powertrain Limited Warranty

Your engine, transmission, and drive system are all protected under this warranty for five years or 60,000 miles. If your vehicle has a transaxle and transfer case, these systems are also covered under this warranty. Some components, like the radiator, hoses, and wiring, are not covered by this warranty. The full list of all covered and non-covered components is included in your warranty booklet.

Corrosion Protection

All sheet and body metal in your Chevy has a special protective coating applied during construction. The coating seals the metal against any corrosion damage. If corrosion appears during the warranty period, the affected section or sections will be replaced at no cost. Corrosion protection applies for three years or 36,000 miles.

Rust-Through Protection

Rust-through is rust that forms a whole through a piece of metal from one side to the other. Your Chevy is protected against the possibility of rust-through for the first six years or 100,000 miles.

Federal Emissions Warranty

Your Chevy’s emissions system meets the standards required by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and converts 99% of dangerous chemicals produced by combustion into harmless chemicals. Most emissions system components are covered against any defect for two years or 24,000 miles.

The engine control unit, catalytic converter, and several other components have enhanced protection that applies for eight years or 80,000 miles.

Additional Warranty Benefits

You also receive two complementary benefits that apply for the duration of your warranty.

Roadside Assistance

Roadside assistance is available 24/7/365 to help you with any unforeseen situations that might occur. Skilled technicians will arrive and can change a tire, jump-start your car, provide lock-out assistance, or deliver fuel if you need it.

Courtesy Transportation

If your Chevy needs to go into the shop for a warranty repair, you receive the option of alternative transportation or reimbursement for transportation expenses.
